Born and raised in Kendallville, Indiana, Colten Williams later moved to Avilla with his family. He attended East Noble Middle and High Schools, where he excelled in academics while balancing a busy schedule as a three-sport athlete. Colten competed in baseball for four seasons, basketball for three, and football for two, all while serving on the student council and participating in the I.C.E Program.

After high school, Colten pursued his passion for insurance and risk management at Olivet College in Michigan. Following two years of dedicated study, he began his insurance career with Black & Ramer Insurance in May 2018. A strong commitment to serving his community drives Colten’s work, and he finds fulfillment in contributing to the area he has always called home.

Colten’s achievements have been recognized by the Kendallville Chamber of Commerce, which awarded him the prestigious Young Professional of the Year honor in 2022. Outside of his professional career, he enjoys coaching basketball at Oak Farm Montessori, a role he has enthusiastically embraced since the 2022 season.

Through his dedication to his clients and his community, Colten continues to make a meaningful impact both professionally and personally.
